The Mayor shall be recognized as the ceremonial head of the Town government. He or she shall act as chairperson of the Town Council during all meetings and shall hold the right and obligation to vote on all matters. The Mayor shall affix his or her signature to all ordinances, resolutions and codes duly passed immediately upon passage. At least three (3) days before any regular meeting of the Town Council, the Mayor shall prepare and cause to be posted in a public place an agenda of items to be considered at those meetings.

At the first regular meetings of the Council in January and in July of every year, the Mayor shall deliver a report on the status of Town affairs.
