For an Accommodations Unit License and a Rental House License, there is hereby imposed a limit that a natural person, limited liability company, personal or family trust or any other form of corporate entity that owns a unit shall not maintain any financial interest in more than two (2) units that are issued either an Accommodations Unit License or a Rental House License. This cumulative ownership limitation is effective immediately but does not apply to any such units that have already been issued an Accommodations Unit License or a Rental House License and which units may continue to renew such licenses independent of the restrictions of this Section 6-1-35 provided such unit is otherwise in full, lawful compliance with all other provisions of the Telluride Municipal Code, Telluride Land Use Code, or applicable Colorado and Federal law, if any. However, if such owner already has two (2) Accommodations Unit Licenses, Rental House Licenses or combination thereof they are not eligible to apply for nor to receive an additional applicable license.
