Sec. 2-9-40. Term; term limits.

(a) Terms shall be for two (2) years, staggered so that approximately one-half (½) of the terms expire each year.
(b) Members shall serve as a regular member for no more than eight (8) consecutive years. Members that serve as a regular member for eight consecutive years shall be eligible to reapply for a regular seat on the Commission after a period of two years. Term limits shall not apply to alternate seats. (Ord. 1585 §1 (Exh. F), 2024)
