(a) A person commits trespassing when he or she knowingly without legal privilege:

(1) Enters on, or remains upon, the premises of another, but this Subsection does not prohibit the entering into or remaining in a building as defined in the Land Use Code.

(2) Places personal property on the premises of another.

(3) Fails or refuses to leave or to remove the personal property from such premises when requested to do so by the owner, occupant or person having lawful control thereof.

(b) Entering or placing personal property on the premises of another is not a trespass if one has permission from the owner or owner’s agent. Premises, in this Section, means real property, buildings and other improvements thereon and the stream banks and beds of any streams flowing through such real property, and vehicles regardless of location.
