Standard Codes promulgated by the Federal Government, the State of Colorado, or by any agency of either of them, or by any political subdivision within the State of Colorado, or by recognized trade or professional organizations, or amendments or revisions thereof, may be adopted by reference by ordinance; provided, however, that public notice of the adoption of any such code shall advise that copies are available for inspection at the Town Hall and provided, further, that any penalty clause in any code may be adopted only if set forth in full in the adopting ordinance. A copy of the code as adopted shall be certified and kept with the adopting ordinance as prescribed in Section 4.16. (Amended 4/3/79)
