Commencing in the year 2014, regular municipal elections shall be held on the first Tuesday following the first Monday in November in odd-numbered years unless otherwise required by Colorado Constitution Article X, Section 20 or C.R.S. §  1-41-101 , et seq. Any special municipal election may be called by resolution or ordinance of the Town Council at least sixty (60) days in advance of such election. The resolution or ordinance calling a special municipal election shall set forth the purpose or purposes of such election. Polling places and mail ballot counting centers for all municipal elections shall be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Election Day. (Amended 1/3/89; 11/4/97; 11/1/05; 11/4/08; 11/5/13; 11/2/21)
