(a) In any prosecution of any of the provisions governing the stopping, standing or parking of a vehicle, proof that the particular vehicle described in the complaint was stopped, standing or parked in violation of any such law or regulation, together with proof that the defendant named in the complaint was at the time of such stopping, standing or parking the registered owner of such vehicle, shall constitute, in evidence, a prima facie presumption that the registered owner of such vehicle was the person who stopped, placed or parked such vehicle at the place where, and for the time during which, such violation occurred.

(b) Copies of the registration of any vehicle, certified as such by the Colorado Motor Vehicle Division or the County Clerk, shall be received as evidence to show the name of the registered owner of such vehicle. (Ord. 1513 §1 (Exh. A), 2020)
