The Town shall establish and maintain an impoundment facility where animals that have been picked up by a peace officer shall be held and cared for in accordance with the provisions of Section 7-6-120 above until the animal is released to its owner or until disposed of as provided in Section 7-6-200 below or otherwise disposed of as ordered by the Municipal Court.
