Applications for renewal of an existing license must be received by the Town Clerk not less than forty-five (45) days prior to the date of expiration. The fine for late application shall be imposed in the amount of ten dollars ($10.00) per day until the expiration date. If the applicant does not agree to pay the fine, the deadline for filing shall not be waived. In such case, the Town Clerk shall not accept or process the renewal application and shall require an application for issuance of a new liquor license. Upon payment of the fine for late application and submittal of a complete application, the expiration date of the existing license shall be extended until the application is granted or denied. If all application forms and documentation, including state and local license fees and fines, are not received by 5:00 p.m. on the date of expiration, the license will be deemed expired except where the requirements of Section 44-3-302, C.R.S., are met. (Prior code 5.15.030; Ord. 1288, 2008)
