A defendant charged solely with noncriminal violations shall have no right to trial by jury, and trial shall be to the Municipal Court. In the event that the defendant is charged with more than one (1) violation arising out of the same incident and at least one (1) of the charged violations is a criminal violation, the defendant shall have the right to demand a trial by jury as set forth in Rule 223 of the Colorado Municipal Court Rules of Procedure, on all violations, which shall be consolidated for purposes of trial.
