Nomination petitions shall comply with Section 2.6 of the Telluride Home Rule Charter and Section 2-1-90 of this Article. The candidate’s name may be a nickname or include a nickname but shall not contain any title or degree designating the business or profession of the candidate. A nomination petition found insufficient by the Town Clerk may be cured by filing a new petition no later than the close of business on the sixty-sixth day before the election.

Objection procedures prescribed in 31-10-305 C.R.S. will be followed.

(c) Withdrawal from nomination. Any person who has been nominated and accepted such nomination may cause their name to be withdrawn from such nomination at any time prior to the 63rd day before the election by filing a written affidavit with the Town Clerk.
