Newsracks shall be stabilized at their respective sites. Newsracks may be required to be anchored to the ground or sidewalk, at the sole discretion of the Town Manager. If so anchored, the publisher or distributor shall be responsible for any damage or repairs caused or necessitated by the removal, installation or reinstallation of any newsrack. Prior to installation, the Town must be notified to ensure that the newsrack is being anchored in accordance with the Town’s direction. (Prior code 12.06.060)
