An independent audit shall be made of all Town accounts at least annually and more frequently if deemed necessary by the Town Council. Such audit shall be made by certified public accountants selected by the Town Council. The Town Council shall select certified public accountants to perform such audit which shall be completed within six (6) months time of the close of the fiscal year. Copies of such audit shall be made available for public inspection at Town Hall. (Amended 11/4/08)
